BC4 Pressure gauge with flush mounted diaphragm
Hygienic production processes place very high demands on the measuring devices used. Labom has now expanded its portfolio with a pressure gauge that is particularly suitable for use in the pharmaceutical and food industries: the BC4200.
The Labom BC4200 is what is known as a dry measuring system, with a flush-mounted diaphragm and all wetted parts made of 1.4435 (316L) stainless steel.
The gauge can be integrated into production systems by numerous EHEDG-certified process connections for hygienic applications.
A special option is the design of the mechanical pressure gauge with an electronic angle-of-rotation sensor and a 4...20 mA output signal (PL11 series), which enables remote transmission of the pressure values measured.
how it works – Clamp-on
The resistance thermometer in clamp-on technology is used for temperature sensing and process control, mainly for sterile applications in the food and pharmaceutical. The resistance thermometer can be quickly and easily fitted to all existing pipework. There are no changes necessary to the piping and no welding required. The resistance thermometer can be supplied with a built-in transmitter. For applications that require a high-resolution graphic display with intuitive operation and comprehensive parameterising functions, we recommend our temperature transmitter GV4610
how it works – In-Process
An increasing number of measurement points require confirmation of accuracy by regular calibration - a cost and time intensive procedure. However, for temperature measurement points with average or low accuracy requirements, a new technology opens up the possibility of significantly reducing the costs and in particular downtimes. The Labom "In-process calibration" method with corresponding measurement equipment is suitable for all invasive temperature measurement points.
In this calibration concept, the measurement equipment is designed so that the comparison between measurement device and reference sensor can be performed in process („In-process calibration“). The certified reference sensor is inserted into a special calibration opening in the device.
This "In-process calibration" can reduce the calibration costs for measurements with average or low accuracy requirements and can be performed without production stoppages. An example application is the sterilisation with saturated water vapor (SIP).
Unboxing Labom – ASEPTconnect
The ASEPTconnect Inline unit allows to install measuring instruments into small pipes, also taking all requirements related to successful SIP and CIP procedures into account. Various instrument and process connections are available.
V-LINE
The V-line combines a very compact construction with the largest possible display. The intuitive 4-button operation assists the user with a dialog window that optionally can be set to English or German language on a high-resolution and well-illuminated dot-matrix display. A special quick setup feature simplifies speedy installation and configuration of the devices. As standard they provide an output signal of 4…20 mA in 2-wire technology with HART® protocol.
REconnect quick coupling device
When it is necessary to replace or calibrate a measuring device, it usually calls for removal of the process connection. This not only interrupts the process it also leaves the process open while this is done. This is often a time-consuming and costly procedure, especially for hygienic processes and those handling toxic or delicate substances, as is common in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

PASCAL Ci4
The digital pressure transmitter PASCAL Ci4 is suitable for measuring the relative and absolute pressure of gases, vapors and liquids. Due to the design the transmitter is suitable for highest requirements. The 4 operation buttons allow an easy and fast parameterisation.

SPS 2018 Interview IO Link
The IO-Link transmitters can be combined with many process connections and measuring devices from the LABOM range. The typical topics of hygienic production such as surface qualities, test controls, specific process connections or the condition of wetted parts are completely covered.
Flat diaphragm seals in all common designs are available for pressure measurement, while the MiniTherm series for fast-response measurements with interchangeable measuring insert and clamp-on for temperature measurements without interfering with the process are used for temperature measurement.
