Level

There are various methods in electronic level measurement technology. Hydrostatic level measurement uses the physical fact that a column of liquid generates a hydrostatic pressure due to its weight. This pressure depends on the height of the liquid column and can be converted into filling level using the density of the liquid. To determine the fill level via a differential pressure measurement, two different pressures are measured, which the transmitter supplies via two pressure connections - e.g. at two points on a tank. The level can be determined from the difference in pressure.
