Level measurement by differential pressure
Determining differential pressure by means of a diaphragm is ideal for measuring filling levels when it is necessary to separate the measuring device from the measured fluid, for example, to satisfy hygienic demands or in case of aggressive chemicals. For these applications Labom offers a series of devices.
A piezo-resistive sensor with double-sided pressure connections combines cost effectiveness with proven and reliable technology – the result is a device that is compared to other differential pressure devices at extremely low cost but with high performance.
Spark erosion drilling makes extremely small interior volumes of down to 0.8 mm possible, which helps minimise temperature errors. Pipework connects to the diaphragm seal; the devices - e.g. PASCAL Ci4 – can be mounted flexibly with a device holder. The compact differential pressure instruments can be combined with all Labom pressure diaphragms and transmitter fluids, so that it is possible to develop a customised and perfect solution for each installation.
